A number of sensitivity studies have analyzed the influence of the size of the
adopted nuclear reaction network, the use of different reaction-rate and mass compilations, and the impact
of varying reaction rates within uncertainty limits in different astrophysical scenarios. This talk summarizes the main
results obtained, emphasizing which nuclear processes that govern nucleosynthesis in novae, X-ray bursts and type Ia
supernovae require new measurements to constrain model predictions.
